Resumen
Este artículo busca generar un diálogo entre el mundo del delito y el obrero. A partir del análisis del periódico El Socialista se abordará la visión crítica que poseía el Partido Obrero Socialista hacia el delito en la ciudad de Punta Arenas. Al respecto, postulo que esta organización, pese a compartir ideas con la visión hegemónica hacia el delito, como la lucha contra el alcoholismo en los sectores populares y la reinserción social del delincuente, crea una interpretación alternativa hacia el mundo delictual. De esta visión es posible identificar tres prácticas que, para ellos, representaron al mundo del delito entre 1913 y 1920: el consumo de alcohol entre la clase obrera; la inexistencia de justicia para los obreros o, en su defecto, como un potenciador de la lucha de clases; y, por último, la criminalidad del cuerpo policiaco.

Abstract
This paper attempts to generate a dialogue between the world of crime and the working class. From the analysis of the newspaper “El Socialista”, the critical vision that the Socialist Workers' Party had towards crime in the city of Punta Arenas will be addressed. In this regard, I postulate that this organization, despite sharing ideas with the hegemonic vision of crime, such as the fight against alcoholism in the popular sectors and the social reintegration of criminals, creates an alternative interpretation of the criminal world. From this vision it is possible to identify three practices that, for them, represented the world of crime between 1913 and 1920, such as: the consumption of alcohol among the working class; the non-existence of justice for the workers or, failing that, as an enhancer of the class struggle; and, finally, the criminality of the police force.
